Swimming Program

On Campus, all campers develop their swimming skills in a daily instructional and/or recreational swimming program taught by American Red Cross Certified Instructors in our well maintained on campus pool.  The swimming instructors teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced skills, and emphasize water safety at all levels.
Off Campus

Older campers may use a larger off-campus pool for recreational swim.

Calendar
The ten-week season usually begins on the 3rd week in June and ends about the 3rd week in August.  When the 4th of July is celebrated on a weekday, camp is closed.  If the holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the camp is closed on Monday.

Hours
The camp day begins at 8:45 a.m. and ends 3:15 p.m.

Lunch
Camp lunch is available at additional cost.  Campers can choose from a tasty menu of hot or cold sandwiches, dessert and drinks.

Many children bring their lunch from home, in which case a beverage of juice or milk is served by courtesy of the camp.

Treats
Treats are served by the camp throughout the day according to the weather.

Transportation
Optional Cost (4 week minimum)

A. Transportation is provided as a courtesy from major areas only.
B. Parents are encouraged to car pool.
C. Camp reserves the right not to transport a child.
D. Transportation pick-up and drop-off must be at the same location.
E. Door-to-door in most cases by vans and cars
F. Pick-up and return times depend on route and distance.

Program
Up to a 10-week program is available and may be interrupted to fit a family’s schedule.  Sports Camp can be integrated with the full Day Camp.

Early Dismissals
Dismissals are coordinated by our Nursing Staff.  Please notify us in writing of late arrivals, early dismissals, etc.
